Razor Of Occam
Razor Of Occam sign with Metal Blade Records + new album 'Homage to Martyrs'
London-based Australian black/thrash horde Razor Of Occam's new album 'Homage to Martyrs' was recorded at Necromorbus studios Sweden (Watain, Aversa Sefira, Mörk Gryning) and produced by Tore Stjerna.

What you get to hear on 'Homage to Martyrs' is the perfect amalgamation of raw black metal and the thrashing mania of Slayer's 'Reign In Blood'. As raw, relentless and intense as it can get! Merciless sharp riffing and pure brutality from the darkest vaults of down under. You will hardly find any band out there that is sounding more metal than Razor Of Occam!
Track listing:
1. Altar of Corruption
2. Bite of Dogmata
3. Day of Wrath
4. Heat of Battle
5. Immortal Code
6. Pattern on the Stone

8. Shadow of the Cross

(older news about the topic)
Black/thrash metallers Razor Of Occam have inked a multi-record deal with Metal Blade Records.
Now based in London, UK including half of the Destroyer 666 line-up and members of Adorior, the band was originally spawned from the South Australian desert in the late nineties. The music of Razor Of Occam still emulates the harshness of its birthplace. Never content to follow the mainstream, the lyrics eschew the mystical nonsense typical of the genre and instead highlight the harsh reality of the godless, uncaring and awe-inspiring universe we inhabit.
The band have two releases to date, 'Diabologue' (Damnation Records) and 'Pillars of Creation' (Circle Of Tyrants). They have recently finished the recordings for their third release, a full-length album titled 'Homage to Martyrs' to be released via Metal Blade Records in the spring of 2009.
Comments the band on the deal: "The Metal Blade back catalogue speaks for itself. We can only hope to be deemed worthy of sitting alongside such illustrious names."
More details, the tracklisting, and a brand new song from 'Homage to Martyrs' will be announced and uploaded shortly.
