Hate announce new bassist + other
Polish death metallers Hate have announced their new permanent member in the lineup - Mortifer. Mortifer, who has toured with Hate as a session bass player for over two years has joined the band as a stable member.
Here is a comment by Hate's leader ATF Sinner: "Mortifer has been playing with us since the beginning of 2007 and has proved to be a loyal band member as well as good friend. We decided to offer him a stable position in the band; therefore we became a four-piece again! I have always thought of Hate as a quartet, so it seems we have put everything in place after having been a three-piece for over 4 years. We have intensive touring ahead of us and it's totally important to have well-motivated lineup with each of us it's gonna be easier having Mortifer on board as a permanent musician."
The band has been working on a new material for some time now. The new stuff has a working title - "Hero Cults" and its tentative release date is set on the first half of 2010.
Here is a short update from the band's leader ATF Sinner: "We've been working hard on a new material for a few months now and I can say we're satisfied to see it take shape as the most intense & epic stuff we've ever written! It has some vibe of the two previous albums, but it's absolutely fresh and surprising at times. I feel that these new tracks are going to fully define our style and help us set apart from other bands around. Industrial parts will play bigger role this time, but we also attach great importance to riffs and expanded arrangements. We've got 4 huge songs completed now and 2 more in the making. I'm sure we'll present one or two of them on the tour in February/March. The release date depends on our label's decision (it's possibly 2010), and I believe that this time we will deliver something absolutely conclusive."
The band is about the launch on "Morphosis Tour 2009" over Europe and their fatherland. Please check out the dates on the Hate's website.
