Amorhis: 'Forging the Land of Thousand Lakes' DVD

Finland's finest Amorhis have revealed the cover artwork and tracklisting of their forthcoming DVD package called 'Forging the Land of Thousand Lakes', which will be released on June 25 (Europe) and June 23 (Finland) and not on June 4th, as announced earlier.
Their latest effort 'Skyforger' was certified GOLD in Finland for sales in excess of 15.000. So were their previous albums 'Eclipse' as well as 'Silent Waters'.

Finnish metal legends Amorphis will release their first-ever live DVD in the spring of 2010, in time for the band’s 20th anniversary. The filming will take place on Friday, November 20, at Club Teatria in Oulu, Finland, where Amorphis will be supported by Stratovarius and Before The Dawn. In addition to the live material, the anniversary DVD will include plenty of bonus material documenting the band’s impressive career.

Amorphis have just returned from a five-week European tour which included sold-out venues in London and Paris as well as in Sofia/Bulgaria and various German towns. Likewise, the current Finnish tour started with sold-out shows in Jyväskylä and Joensuu. Esa Holopainen comments: “After our successful European tour, it feels good to return to the Finnish stages. And it’s great to notice that our ‘home folks’ have not forgotten us. See you at the shows!”
