Onslaught

Onslaught sign with AFM Records

Back in the 80s English thrashers Onslaught surely belonged to one of the most influential and also experimental bands of their genre. Let's be honest: Who does not remember a gem like 1986's 'The Force'?! After a long break of 13 years, Onslaught returned in 2005, due to the great demand of the fans and critics all over the world, with yet another stunning release entitled 'Killing Peace' (2007). Now the time has come to give you thrash fans out there, what you have been waiting for. The band is recording a new record as we speak and it will see the light of day soon through AFM Records.

Here's what the band commented earlier:
"Hi Ladies / Lunatics

Just a short message to say "hello" and to answer some of the questions that are regulary being thrown our way of late...

Well, where do I start...???

Yes we have an album title / Yes we have a release date / Yes we have a producer / Yes we have studio time booked and yes we have a new....... hahahahaha not telling ya.

It's certainly not gonna be 'Killing Peace 2' thats for sure.....It's Old School, it's contempory, it's Onslaught, it's gonna be "faster" at times / definately "heavier" with some songs having their more intricate moments, but not too intricate, cos that means compromising the violence which this album is really gonna be all about... "PURE UNADULTERATED MUSICAL VIOLENCE".

We're gonna be using several different guitar tunings to add some sonic variety and lots of truly stunning solos coming your way from Mr. Rosser-Davies, he's on fire at the moment and being pushed to the limits in terms of creativity and originality...

No, Andy Sneap will not be producing the new album, but we have found another perfect partner to work with us this time around... He's a huge Onslaught fan and will definately deliver the crushing brutality we are looking for on production front...

Once again Onslaught will deliver a very different sounding album to its predecessor, there will not be 11/12 tracks on the record, its not something Onslaught do... We have always preferred quality over quantity every time... No fillers, all killers here... But you will more than get VFM... "Violence for Money" guaranteed :)

So I Hope that really answers fuck all, hahahaha but let's ya know something deadly is certainly under creation in the camp...

666% THRASH....!!!
Nige"
