Desecresy: 'Arches of Entropy'
Finnish death metal band Desecresy have inked a deal with Xtreem Music for the release of their recentlyrecorded debut album 'Arches of Entropy' due to come out before the end of 2010.
Desecresy was formed in 2009 by Tommi Grönqvist (all instruments) and Jarno Nurmi (vocals) both from the now extinct Slugathor.
The music of Desecresy is a crushingly heavy type of death metal with a dark and eerie atmosphere inspired by bands like Abhorrence (FIN), Bolt Thrower, Asphyx, Derketa, Rippikoulu, Grave, Incantation, Rottrevore... And in general getting inspiration from 90's death metal, although Desecresy do not settle just to be a so called "old school" band. Their aim is to make death metal as it should be, not as it once was.
'Arches of Entropy' was recorded from January to August 2010 and holds such a heavy, deep and dense production that despite not being so polite as nowadays productions, this one for sure perfectly captures the darkness and heaviness of the 10 songs there included, resulting in one of Finland's heaviest albums ever.
Although there's not an exact release date, 'Arches of Entropy' is planned to come out between November / December 2010, so in the meantime we urge you to visit their official MySpace to listen to three songs: www.myspace.com/desecresy
