Thornafire: 'Eclipse Nox Coagula'

Thornafire, the Chilean band led by Victor Mcnamara (guitar), has begun one of the most important and decisive stage of its music career, in full development of its second European tour "Eclipse Phenomena" with shows in important festivals, the band has released its third album 'Eclipse Nox Coagula' recorded in Sade studios by Thornafire drummer Juan Pablo Donoso.

The band released the following news:

"I've some news about what will happen next months: First, in June we will release our third full-length 'Eclipse Nox Coagula' by Australis Records in a deluxe digipak version, and subsequently in vinyl version by Ibex Moon the next month.

Some points about the album: We took 2 years composing the album and since October we worked the demos, in last February we begun to record the album and I begun with the post production then.

This is an ugly and twisted album. Personally I haven't stopped to listening it on my way to my miserable office work.

As part of the release of this new album, we will be touring in Europe playing in many festivals, these intensive shows of Latin malevolent death metal, will be supported on drums by Sebastian Rojas a.k.a. "Chupete". We hope people enjoy our "manufactured in a workshop" death metal made away from the bored current era of digital overproduction and absurd speed of the majority of death metal releases.

In other news, on May we produced a video clip in order to support the track 'Malefactor Manifesto', that has a more artistic and different view from the mainstream in this format. We filmed it in an abandoned sanitarium where is supposed there are strange appearances.
