Dante's guitarist Markus Berger dead

German progressive metal band Dante lost thneir guitar player on Saturday, 5th of January 2013. Here is a message from the band:

"Last night Markus lost the battle against his severe disease, a disease that has kept him from being on stage with us for the last year. Brave, always hoping and with an admirable courage Markus kept fighting until the very end. Yesterday, the world has lost an incredibly talented musician – and we have lost a great friend.

Our pain and our grief are incredibly deep and cannot be properly expressed with words. Our thoughts on this tough day are with his family, who has our deepest and deeply felt compassion.

Please understand that under these circumstances we are not able to perform the scheduled concert tonight @ Garage Deluxe in Munich. We'll try to catch up on that later this year.

Markus, we love you!

We will never forget you!"
