Burialkult: 'A Call from Beyond the Grave' out now
'A Call from Beyond the Grave', the first full length album by Burialkult, was intended to be recorded with a style and sound firmly rooted in the spirit of the 80's. A leap forward. Raw, unholy and uncompromising is how the album is described by Phlegathon. Unlike the 'Evil Antichrist Hordes' 7" EP (Blood Harvest) which was more black death; 'A Call from Beyond the Grave' has a dirtier rock 'n' roll vibe with grim black metal atmosphere and frost bitten tone.
For fans of primitive rock and roll influenced black metal; This album is for you!
'A Call from Beyond the Grave' was recorded at Cenotaph studios in Victoria, BC, by the band themselves through the months of December 2012 and January 2013. The album was mastered by Hayden Cyr and was released on the cult underground label Blood Harvest records on both vinyl and CD format, on April 5th.
