Silent Voices: 'Reveal the Change' detailed

Silent Voices, the Finnish melodic metal band featuring Sonata Arctica keyboardist keyboardist Henrik Klingenberg and bassist Pasi Kauppinen, will release its new album on November 29 in Europe and December 3 in North America through Inner Wound Recordings. The CD, which features guest appearances by by Mats Levén (Candlemass, ex-Therion, Yngwie Malmsteen), Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica), Mike Vescera (Obsession, ex-Lodness, Yngwie Malmsteen) and Mike DiMeo (ex-Masterplan, Riot), was mastered by Ted Jensen (Bon Jovi, Dream Theater, Megadeth).

Silent Voices recently announced the addition of vocalist Teemu Koskela (Winterborn) to the group's ranks. Teemu already fronted Silent Voices for three successful shows in the U.K. and Czech Republic earlier this year.

"The entire band and all the people we are working with are very excited about this new album," says the group. "We cannot wait for everyone to hear the new songs and to be back on tour again."

Finnish progressive metallers Silent Voices has announced that their new frontman is Teemu Koskela (Winterborn). Teemu has already sung three successful shows with Silent Voices in the UK and Czech Republic earlier this year.

"We are very excited to finally share with everyone that Teemu Koskela is the new vocalist of Silent Voices. Teemu is an incredible vocalist and a great guy. His voice is a very strong addition to the Silent Voices family."

Silent Voices have also inked a new deal with the Swedish label Inner Wound Recordings for the release of the bands up-coming album 'Reveal the Change' (more information will below).

"The entire band and all the people we are working with are very excited about this new album. We cannot wait for everyone to hear the new songs and to be back on tour again."

Silent Voices is also known as "the other band" of Henrik Klingenberg and Pasi Kauppinen of Sonata Arctica.

The follow-up to Finnish prog metallers Silent Voices' 2006 album 'Building up the Apathy' is finished and the details about the new album have now been revealed.

The band's fourth studio album titled 'Reveal the Change' features the quartet of Henrik Klingenberg, Pasi Kauppinen, Timo Kauppinen and Jukka-Pekka Koivisto as well as guest performances on lead and background vocals by Mats Levén (Therion, Yngwie Malmsteen), Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica), Michael Vescera (Loudness, Yngwie Malmsteen), Mike DiMeo (Rage, Masterplan) and Teemu Koskela (Winterborn).

The album has 7 tracks and one of them is an instrumental. 'Reveal the Change' was recorded and mixed at Studio57 Finland in Alaveteli, Finland and mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound, New York, NY.
