(Older news about the topic:)
Louisville's black metal horde Anagnorisis is preparing for the scorching Summer unleashing of its first new full-length since 2007's 'Overton Trees', as their massive sophomore LP 'Beyond all Light' nears release. With the final strokes now placed on their newest masterwork, today the band proudly discloses the official street date for the album as well as the public's first exposure to its' iniquitous compositions.
Thunderously capturing Anagnorisis' most expansive material to date, 'Beyond all Light', was meticulously recorded by the band and mixed by guitarist Zak Denham and his One By One Studios, and then mastered by Brian Lueken at Decibel Mastering. The two-part LP is broken into two segments, each act featuring three massive songs overall encompassing nearly fifty minutes. The band's already classically-influenced but forward-thinking approach to black metal ventures into new territories, and while skeletal elements of their earlier material shrouds the material, more orchestral and atmospheric elements penetrate the band's wickedest, blazing attacks ever. While comparisons to notable bands like Nachtmystium, Emperor, Summoning and Drudkh can be made, Anagnorisis weave their own unique visions and configurations into their songcraft, creating a wholly engaging, epic atmosphere.
'Beyond all Light' track listing:
Part I
