Septicflesh: 'Titan' coming in June

Greek masters of darkness, Septicflesh's 9th full-length album 'Titan' will hit European stores on June 20th through Season Of Mist.

'Titan' will be released as a collector’s box set entirely made of metal with 3D top, including the album in deluxe digipak CD, orchestral versions of five songs from 'Titan' in a bonus digisleeve CD with poster, a giant metal magnet and a metal pendant, both in printed velvet bags. All items in the box, except for the digipak, are exclusive to this edition.

The album will also be available on separate deluxe digipak made of special board with book-sleeve and 24 page booklet of special paper, black / white / transparent gatefold double LP limited to 150 copies, solid white gatefold double LP limited to 300 copies, transparent gatefold double LP with black, grey and white splatters limited to 300 copies, regular black gatefold double LP, and merchandising. All formats can already be pre-ordered at the Season of Mist e-shop.

Riding high from the success of their critically acclaimed album 'The Great Mass' and the recent reissues of their first four albums, Hellenic metallers Septicflesh have completed the recordings of their upcoming full length, which title is yet to be unveiled. The new album will consist of 10 songs that were recorded once again at Devasoundz Studios Athens, Greece and in Prague, Czech Republic with the collaboration of the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir. It was mixed and mastered in Los Angeles by acclaimed producer Logan Mader (Cavalera Conspiracy, Fear Factory, Gojira).

"We are really exhausted from the work on this record, but also very proud of the results", the band comment. "We worked very hard with producer Logan Mader to bring you the ultimate death metal soundtrack for your darkest dreams. The compositions are progressive with a lot of emotional peaks, while at the same time the songs sound very aggressive and powerful. We also had the chance to work for the first time with a full children choir beside the regular adult choir, and that helped us dive deeper into darker cinematic atmospheres. We have achieved a new level of extreme emotions."
