Cavalera Conspiracy

Cavalera Conspiracy: 3rd album 'Pandemonium' out in November

No one can delude Max and Igor Cavalera anymore. The two Sepultura founders show with Cavalera Conspiracy what it means to shoot thrash and death metal straight into the world.

The new studio album 'Pandemonium' will be released on November 3rd in Europe and the UK & November 4th US/CAN via Napalm Records and shows that fatigue is a foreign word for them. Front man Max Cavalera rushes with bellow of rage into the fray, lets his brother drum coarsest grooves and puts his finger into the open wound.

Track listing:
1. Babylonian Pandemonium
2. Banzai Kamakazi
3. Scum
4. I, Barbarian
5. Cramunhao
6. Apex Predator
7. Insurrection
8. Not Losing the Edge
9. Father of Hate
10. The Crucible
11. Deus Ex Machina
12. Porra

Says Igor Cavalera about the cover artwork: "It is exciting to work with one of the most amazing living artists which is also one of my best friends. Stephan Doitschnoff expresses in a beautiful way what is tense and ambiguous, makes people think through images and words, for me it's the best fit to combine with one of the most exciting pieces of music I have written which is 'Pandemonium'."

(Older news about the topic:)

Cavalera Conspiracy the band featuring the legendary metal brothers Max and Igor Cavalera are currently in the mixing stage of their third album and their first for their new label home Napalm Records. The band is working with producer John Gray (Soulfly) and plans on having the record ready for release in Fall of 2014.

Members of the band and producer John Gray took some time to give an update on the recording process:

"This is by far the fastest and heaviest record I have ever had the pleasure of working on with Max Cavalera. Max, Igor and Marc were on the same page musically from the moment they walked in the door, and recording this album was a very smooth process. I had never worked with Igor Cavalera before and I was very impressed with his ability to work out the arrangements with Max and get some extremely complex drum parts done live with hardly any re-takes necessary. Marc Rizzo, as always, was spot-on and a true guitar virtuoso. I love to work with Marc because he always pushes himself to perfection, but he is very down to earth and keeps things light when he's under pressure. What can I say about Nate Newton- he killed it on the bass tracks with very little back and forth. I'm really impressed with his talent, and I look forward to meeting him someday," commented John Gray.

"The new Cavalera Conspiracy record was amazing to record... definitely a brutal and fast third record!!!" said Marc Rizzo.

"It was a lot of fun to be a part of this record. For me it was a challenge to learn the songs sight unseen and record them. It was a pretty interesting look into the way Max write's songs and I am glad to have been a part of it," said Nate Newton.

More updates and news on Cavalera Conspiracy's new album will be released in the coming weeks.
