Primal Fear

Primal Fear split with drummer Randy Black

German power metal band Primal Fear have split with drummer Randy Black. Here is the band's statement:

"Due to irreconcilable differences between singer Ralf Scheepers and drummer Randy Black, Primal Fear announce that Randy will leave the band effective August 16th, 2014 – one day after the band's performance @ the Summer Breeze Festival, Randy's final show with the band. Primal Fear will announce their new drummer in September. We wish Randy all the best in his future career!"

Bassist Mat Sinner commented: "Bang! One part of me can understand Randy's decision, the one part not. But after 11 years together in a band, sharing busses, stages & hotels, through good & bad times, this is a sad moment - good luck Randy! I accept what is, let go of what was, have faith in what will be!"
