Slayer complete violent 'Repentless' music video trilogy

US thrash metal titans Slayer have now completed their 'Repentless' music video trilogy by unleashing the final installment, 'Pride in Prejudice' music video.

Check out the story below, starting from the first episode.

The first video, Repentless', was shot late last month at the Sybil Brand Institute in East Los Angeles and is a grizzly depiction of what the Kerry King-created word means: "to feel no regret or remorse." Slayer performed the song in the prison yard while a riot broke out, blood flowed in abundance, and inmates and prison guards were slaughtered. Directed by BJ McDonnell and produced by Felissa Rose, the video features cameos by actors who have been part of some of the most iconic horror films ever made: Danny Trejo ("Machete", "From Dusk Till Dawn"), Tony Moran ("Halloween"'s Michael Myers, "American Poltergeist"), Derek Mears ("Predators", "Friday the 13th"), Tyler Mane ("Halloween"), Jason Trost ("Hatchet III"), Sean Whalen ("Men In Black", "Halloween II"), and Vernon Wells ("Mad Max 2", "Commando", "Weird Science").

'You Against You' is the prequel to 'Repentless', Slayer's brutal 2015 video filmed at an L.A. prison that has logged nearly 7.5 million YouTube views. Like 'Repentless', 'You Against You' was directed by BJ McDonnell, stars Jason Trost ("Hatchet III") as Wyatt, the eyepatched rebel inmate, and tells the story of the circumstances that led to Wyatt's erroneous arrest and imprisonment.

"I'm particularly excited about this third video," said McDonnell, "because we played with stylistic differences with the trilogy. Where one video plays like an action film, this third one is more of a dramatic piece. The final story takes us into a world that is especially sinister in tone, with the dark and the light colliding. The conclusion is visually cinematic and harsh, with Slayer conducting us through it all with 'Pride in Prejudice'."

"It was a pleasure working with BJ on this project," said Slayer's Kerry King. "Slayer are notorious for letting the artist be the artist, the producer be the producer, and the director be the director, etc. By doing this we get a completely unique perspective that never really strays far from our own. Get ready for video three. It's my favourite!"

The new one includes actors such as Bill Moseley ("House Of 1000 Corpses", "The Devil's Rejects"), Richard Speight, Jr. ("CSI", "Jericho", "Supernatural") and Caroline Williams ("Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens", "Hatchett III").

The album 'Repentless' was released on September 11th, 2015. It is the first album after guitar legend Jeff Hanneman's passing on May 2nd, 2013.
