Rotting Christ to release new album 'Rituals' in February 2016

Greek black metal legends Rotting Christ' new album 'Rituals' will be out on February 12th, 2016, via Season Of Mist.

"We present the first song from our upcoming album entitled 'Rituals'! It's not easy to choose just one piece to fully represent such a varying album - like this, but since it must be done, the lot fell on the 'Ἐλθὲ Κύριε ( Elthe Kyrie)' , translated as "Come Lord "and is influenced by the tragic Greek poet Euripides, most notably his work "Bakchai"! The project refers to the advent of a new god and the ceremonial atmosphere of this our historical theatrical drama influenced lyrically and musically, and resulted in the track you just listen! It remains as only one thing to lead you on a mystical journey through ancient Greek Bacchus occult. The fabulous female guest vocals courtesy of excellent Danae Katsameni, actor of the National Theatre."
