Ex-Doomraiser guitarist Valerio Dominici dead
Italian doom metal band Doomraiser's former guitar player Valerio Dominici has passed away on January 2nd, 2016. Here is the band's message:
"We have to share with you very very sad news: Valerio Dominici, first Doomraiser guitar player has left us tonight after a hard fight against cancer; we are shattered and we send a huge hug to his family, his wife Monica and their beautiful daughter Alice. Two records written together, loads of concerts, wonderful moments sharing our music and our friendship.
We want to remember you forever for what you were!
Sit tibi terra levis.
MOLESTIUS!
REST IN PEACE
PS: Teach angels and demons how to drink Campari and tell them, when they're drunk, that Campari's alcoholic!"
Mr. Dominici was a member of the band since the year they formed, back in 2003. He left the band in 2009, and recorded five releases during his stay, including two full-length album ('Lords of Mercy' [2006] and 'Erasing the Remembrance' [2009]) among others.
