Gates Of Ishtar drummer Oscar Karlsson passed away

Melodic death metal band Gates Of Ishtar's drummer Oscar Karlsson passed away no March 3rd, 2016. Here's the band's message:

"It is with much sadness and regret that we have learned that our drummer and friend Oscar Karlsson has passed away at the age of 39.

Words cannot express how we feel.

Oscar was a fantastic human being and a great friend and he will be dearly missed."

Oscar also played in Helltrain. Here is their message:

"A few days ago we lost our beloved friend and drummer Oscar Karlsson. Not only did we loose our best friend, a woman lost her man and a child lost its father. The family that gave him birth lost a loved son and brother. Oscar will be missed, deep within our hearts. We will remember him for all the joy he brought into our lives and the musical guidance he provided us with. We know that he was a true source of inspiration for many of you out there, not only by the way he handled his drums but equally much in the way that he handled himself and cared for others.

Play it loud and cherish his memory with your favourite songs from all the bands he was involved with throughout the years.
