Following up the re-issues of the classic Roadrunner albums on deluxe 2-CD and high quality LP, Pestilence is preparing for worldwide domination in 2018.

Aside from intensive touring around the globe the main focus will be on the 8th studio-album since they started in 1986. 'Hadeon' is an all out death metal attack, in 13 tracks, combining Pestilence's old school roots, their progressive trade-mark and a killer production, which will appeal to both old and new fans.

The fitting album artwork is created by Michal "Xaay" Loranc (Behemoth, Nile, Evocation, Vader, Necrophagist), a very talented Polish graphic designer whom perfectly turned Patrick Mameli's visions and concept into art. The concept is based on a multi-layered reality, alien presence and negative frequencies.

The perfect mixture of old school and some innovative elements (as one would expect from Pestilence), a song that indeed could have been on a logical follow-up album to the legendary 'Testimony of the Ancients' album.

Together with the announcement of the 'Hadeon' cover artwork Hammerheart Records releases the first single-track from 'Hadeon', the song 'Multi Dimensional'. 'Multi Dimensional' is a great appetizer for the album and shows all of Pestilence's trademarks in one killer song.

(Older news about the topic:)

Dutch technical death metal legend Pestilence's new album 'Hadeon' will be released soon. It's the eighth full-length platter from the band.

Dan Swanö (Opeth, Bloodbath, Edge Of Sanity, Ghost, Katatonia...) will be mastering the new album. Dan had this to say after hearing 'Hadeon' for the first time: "All in all, the mix is awesome and it sounds like the album that should have come after their 'Testimony...' album in the early 90's. I love that it's normal tuning (sounds cool with the octaver on the guitar sometimes!). The drummer is killer too! All in all, I think it will be a hit for them!"

Line-up:
Patrick Mameli – lead guitar, vocals
Santiago Dobles– lead guitar
Tilen Hudrap - bass
Septimiu Hărşan - drums
