The Hirvi

The Hirvi lives again

Finnish thrash metal band The Hirvi have returned. They were active from 1987 to 1989, and recorded one demo tape during that period. They were about to sign a record contract with Spinefarm Records before they decided to call it a day.

The Hirvi mk II consists of original members Juha Virtanen (guitar/vocals) and bassist Jusa Löytökorpi. Otto Luotonen (ex-Rytmihäiriö) is the new drummer and the second guitar is handled by Joni Tanskala (Murena, Khroma).
