Whitemour sign with Art Gates Records

The Art Gates Records team is proud to introduce Finnish four metal combo Whitemour to its international roster of artists.

Whitemour is a black/death metal abomination with dark melodies spewing forth message of hate, misanthropy, war and death. The band was founded in 2006 by Jani Rohunen in Seinäjoki, Finland. Through many line-up changes, the band became the four-man group it is today.

In words of the band: "During Whitemour's existence we have tried to not limit ourselves to any particular genre, instead we have let entropy reing free and we have done just what feels right at the moment. The greatest inspiration comes from black and old school death metal. Our lyrical themes deal with topics such as war, death, misanthropy and human insanity. We are excited about the opportunity to work with AGR and we are looking forward to what the future holds for us."

After releasing a demo 'Journal of Flesh and Blood', a single release 'Produced Minds and Sculpted Beauty', two EP's 'Chaos Anthem' and 'Astarte' and the latest single release 'Kuolinnaamio'. In 2018 Whitemour is set to release their first album of studio through Art Gates Records worldwide.
