Apocrophex

8. Neglected Megalith (07:16)
This new release is a fully independent offering funded solely by the two-piece band themselves. In the three years since their 2015 album 'Suspended from the Cosmic Altaar', Apocrophex has fine-tuned their craft and added a much more sinister tone, darker atmosphere and more dissonant nature to their already-ferocious technical death metal approach.
Joined in the studio by skilled session drummer Kevin Paradis (Svart Crown, Sutrah), 'Æternalis' represents the band's ideas in a more complete form than ever before. For fans of Artificial Brain, Chthe'ilist, and Nucleus, casual listeners and critics alike will find 'Æternalis' to be a uniquely terrifying journey into the unknown.
The band commented: "We're both very excited to finally share our new album with other fans of death metal. 'Æternalis' perfectly represents a balance between our love of aggressive music and our passion of the unknown and unexplainable."
Featuring awe-inspiring artwork by Moonroot Art, 'AEternalis' will be available on CD and digital formats on May 18, 2018.
