Searing Meadow looking for a record deal

Finnish melancholy metallers Searing Meadow are looking for a record deal. The band will enter Noisecamp Studios in February 2007 to record 2-3 new songs which will be used to find a label for the band.
The words from guitarist Sasu Haapanen: "Ville (Pekkala; guitar) and Mika (Ikonen; vocals) have written some 8-9 new songs. I've heard three of them and have to say that although pretty recognizable Searing Meadow stuff — much heavier and gloomier. Ville's been listening to lot of bands like Old Man's Child recently and you can hear their influences pushing through. I guess you won't hear songs like 'These Evening Tears' on the next album."
