Darkest Horizon announce new vocalist

Germany's melodic/epic death metal band Darkest Horizon have announced their vocalist - Enis Lorenz.

The band commented: "This classy, chic young man is not only the voice of Darkest Horizon he is also an old friend of ours who has been with us for many years now as a guitar/bass tech and also backup bassist. And now the time has come for him to change from the background to the front.
Stay tuned for new material with Enis and come to the next Darkest Horizon show close to yours to convince yourselfes of his mighty voice! We are proud having him as our singer!"

Enis Lorenz commented: "If had to describe my time as the lead singer of Darkest Horizon so far, the most fitting word would be „surreal“. Everything happened very quick. One day I got asked by Olli if I could stand in for Aurelius at the Rockfels Festival and the next thing I knew was being on tour together with Wintersun. I still can't quite wrap my head around what's going on.
It's quite amazing how supportive and trusting my new Band colleauges are. This is the first time for me to be in the front position of any band ever.
I've been around with the guys for a little more than four years, but this is absolutely different. They are working extremely professional, but yet are able to function together on a human level. Everytime we're out playing a show, it always feels like a family gathering – a weird family gathering.
All in all, I'm very thankful to be handed this amazing chance and looking forward to an awesome future with this bunch of chaos!"
