Burning Point
Burning point introduce new vocalist
Oulu, Finland based heavy/power metal band Burning Point came forth and introduced their new singer. Here is the band's message:
"Lady's and Gents, may we present to you the newest addition to the BP family!
Our new singer is, the Italian stallion Luca Sturniolo m/
We are very excited to start working with him and he'll be a big part of the new album!
Short biography of Luca Sturniolo, singer & musician and producer from Italy.
- Approached music at the age of 9 playing classical guitar and spending a lot of time listening his uncle's vinyls like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Ten Years After, Simon & Garfunkel. Crosby, Stills and Nash and many more.
- Performed his first professional gig in 1986 at the age of 16.
- Lots of gigs with different bands, the first record production in 1995 until the amazing experience of the Pearl drum clinics in 1999-2001 performing Deep Purple tribute with Mr. Ian Paice on drums for several shows.
- In December 2004 he moved to Finland and started almost immediately to make connections and play around the country as troubadour, singer and bassist in various bands based in Turku, Tampere and Helsinki.
- In 2006 he joins Tommi Läntinen and Kuutamolla Orkesteri as bassist for several gigs, then in 2007 the reunion of Boycott.
- In 2013 he takes part of the Tv contest The Voice of Finland in Michael Monroe's team improving the quality of his shows.
- In 2015 he published his first solo album 'The Dawn' produced, written and performed by himself with two promo videos available on YouTube.
The second solo album, which keeps on exploring the vintage sound of 70 progressive music with a lot of influences from music approached in decades, is coming out in the near future.
Now is the perfect time to explore something new!
He will join as the singer on the new Burning Point album and taking part at the new line up of the band.
