The fall of the Ancient Dome

Italian thrash metallers Ancient Dome have called it a day. Here's the band's message:

"We never thought to write something similar. It has always seemed a remote option, but the voyage of Ancient Dome ended up a few days ago.

"An "end of works" desired by someone, accepted by someone else, in harmony and without losing mutual respect and friendship that has tied us.

"Nineteen years of underground (melodic) thrash metal, a great musical progression... so many line ups, four albums we are proud of and many friends who have supported, promoted and distribuited us, as well as many problems and many arguments; the time has come for us to take a break...

"Surely this does not mean that we will hang up our musical instruments; there are so many ideas those deserve to be developed, so you will listen to us with other bands and other projects.
A big thank you to all those who met us and have become friends and supporters, to all those who have played even for a short time with Ancient Dome and to all those who have collaborated with us: sound engineers, graphic designers, record labels, etc.

"We salute you with the words of a great artist, "Let the Metal flow!"
