Piotr Grocholski (ex-Devilyn) dies

Guitarist Piotr Grocholski, who played on two first Devilyn (death metal from Tarnów) albums, 'Anger' and 'Reborn in Pain' (released in 1997 & 1999 respectively), passed away on Sunday 12th, January, 2020.

Here is a message from his old bandmates:

"On Sunday, January 12, 2020, our Brother and Friend Piotr Grocholski fell, losing the unequal battle with cancer at the age of 45.

A great man, a great musician, co-creator of the Devilyn band, co-author of the cult recordings 'Anger' and 'Reborn in Pain'. An important figure of the young Polish metal scene of the 90s - a friend of us many!

He left a great emptiness and sadness, but he will live forever in the music he created, the music that will always play in us, the music that will always be a testament to his existence and passion to play.

Goodbye brother!
Let the underworld be your stage forever!!!"
