Autumnfall, the new band from ex-Fall Of The Leafe guitarist

Almost 15 years ago one of the underdogs of Finnish melodic death metal, and later, gothic rock, Fall Of The Leafe, called it a day. The band released 6 full-length albums, of which two first, 'Evanescent, Everfading' (1998) ja 'August Wernicke' (1999), were much darker and heavier than the rest.

Now, after over two decades since 'August Wernicke', the guitar player and composer Jussi Hänninen returns to his roots and continues in vein of those two albums.

Hail Autumnfall, the new band returning to early roots of Fall Of The Leafe; melodic metal with strong emphasis on death and black metal.

The debut demo, 'Demo​-​20' is now available.

The band commented: "This is a presentation of the music that Autumnfall is all about. However this product doesn't show the full potential of the band as the drums were programmed. We are now looking for a label to work with on our full-length."
