Ancient Rites split with guitarist

Belgian dark metal band Ancient Rites have split their ways with guitarist Raf Jansen. He was a band member for 2 years and released the 'Rubicon' album with the band.
Mr. Jansen spoke: "I've enjoyed playing with Ancient Rites, but I had to make a decision. As things are these days, something had to go, and after a long deliberation, I chose to leave Ancient Rites. Ahráyeph demands much of my time these days, as do producing and I have a day job on the side as well.
Over the years, Ancient Rites have proven to rise above every obstacle they encountered, so me leaving won't even leave a dent in the band's future. They'll still stand as strong as ever. I wish the guys the very best for the future, as I'm looking forward to my own with Ahráyeph."
