Ex-Anubis Gate / Invocator bassist Jesper M. Jensen dead

Jesper Møller Jensen, Danish bass and guitar player known as a forming member of Anubis Gate and from Invocator, has passed away. He was born in 1973.

Anubis Gate wrote:

"RIP Jesper Møller Jensen.

To our great sadness we have learned that Jesper Møller Jensen, founder member, guitarist and songwriter on the first 5 Anubis Gate albums, has passed away. Jesper was a sweet beautiful mild mannered soul with whom you could enjoy long deep conversations. Musically Jesper was a master riffer whose precise phrasing was an inspiration for the rest of us and Jesper contributed a wealth of great material to the band. All of us who had our lives intertwined with his, some from a young age, had our lives enriched both personally and musically by Jesper. Even though Jesper left the band to pursue other musical directions we were all still Anubis Mates (a phrase Jesper himself coined). Our thoughts go out to Jespers family.

You will be missed and never forgotten.

Invocator wrote:

"It's with a heavy heart that I write this, but our old friend and bass player extraordinaire Jesper Möller Jensen has sadly passed away.
