Rage announce 'Resurrection Day' album

The fans were delighted when Rage frontman Peavy Wagner presented the new line-up of his band with two guitarists in the summer of 2020 and thus announced the return to the personnel constellation of classics like 'Black in Mind' or 'End of All Days'.

After the departure of Marcos Rodriguez last year, Stefan Weber (ex-Axxis) and only a few weeks later Jean Bormann (Angel Inc, Rage and Ruins) were signed up. The fourth member is drummer Vassilios "Lucky" Maniatopoulos, who has been part of Rage since 2015.

Immediately afterwards, the quartet began work on the brand new album 'Resurrection Day', which goes on sale on 17 September 2021 via Steamhammer/SPV as a CD digipack, vinyl double album, high-quality box set (ltd. to 666 pieces) and digital download.

"I'm surprised how quickly the new line-up has found itself as a homogeneous team and how positively the individual talents of each band member come to bear," Wagner looks back on a highly creative production phase and explains in view of the new disc: "I have the impression that our sound is still Rage-typical on the one hand, but has gained a young freshness on the other."
