Once Human release 'Erasure' music video; new album 'Scar Weaver' out next month

Los Angeles' groove metal band Once Human are about to release their third full-length album, 'Scar Weaver'.

The have band release the fourth song off of the new album, 'Erasure'.

With 'Deadlock' - featuring Robb Flynn (Machine Head) - Once Human released their first single. With an outstanding vocal performance of metal queen Lauren Hart the song is a monster kick-off to their heaviest album yet.

Robb Flynn about his contribution: "When Logan [Mader, ex-Machine Head] sent me the track for 'Deadlock' I was blown away. It was so fresh, and new, and what Lauren was doing was so exciting. I immediately got inspired and tried a bunch of ideas. Lauren heard these and expanded all over those ideas and the end result was simply fucking massive! Was an honor to collaborate with Logan again on this, and was an absolute blast jamming with Once Human!"

With 'Only in Death' Once Human release their second single. The song is another killer track from their heaviest album yet and underlines the bands approach as the next up and coming strike inside of the modern and brutal metal world.

Lauren Hart about the song: "This is my most personal song on the new album. It meant so much to me, that I really needed to get my hands dirty with the visuals. Logan and I filmed everything to keep the song's the raw meaning. Musically, it's very emotional and dire, and the outro is probably my favorite piece of music on the album!"

With 'Cold Arrival' Once Human release their third single . The song is written in memory of a friend of the band – that's why we add the lyrics to this PR, so people can dive deeper into the song.

Guitarist Max Karon commented: "In the beginning of the pandemic, we as a band lost someone very near and dear to us. Being around Jared was our mutual tether to healthy habits and personal empowerment. He was personable, fun, and a constant source of wisdom. To us, he felt like a permanent, immutable fixture in our lives. He left us suddenly and without warning. These last eighteen months have been a solemn reminder that the lives we lead and the people we know are not immortal. The acknowledgment of that harsh reality is 'Cold Arrival'."

The album will be out on earMUSIC on February 11th.
