Horrendous return with 'Ontological Mysterium' album in August

At long last, US death metallers Horrendous announce the approaching release of their fifth album, 'Ontological Mysterium', which will be out via Season Of Mist on August 18th, 2023.

From the depths of chaos and despair which begat their 2018 album 'Idol', the new album rises on the wings of new ambitions to reveal nigh infinite, untold worlds – worlds which, like a death metal head of Janus, encompass our love of the genre's past while attempting to envision limitless futures. The band are prouder than ever of the creative horizons expressed by their latest effort, and hope the music will bring you to the mountainous heights they intend it to.

Pre-orders for vinyl, CDs, tapes, and shirts are live on their bandcamp page as well as the Season Of Mist shop. Two special editions of the vinyl – a red and black marble and band exclusive "Voodoo" – include a limited-run poster by acclaimed comic book artist Daniel Warren Johnson; Additional shirt designs will be available soon.
