Wretched Path release the 1st single off 'Sea of Death' album

Finnish death metal band Wretched Path formed back in 2020 and put out their debut album 'Heavy Lies the Crown' in November 2022.

Now is the time for the second strike, and the band's sophomore album 'Sea of Death' has been announced. The first single 'Release of Violence' is out as a digital single and music video.

Vocalist Esa Salminen commented on the new song: "The lyrics, that were influenced by the movie 'The Purge', can be interpreted as a reflection of society's hidden rage or a trip to mind's most twisted thoughts. Let the haunting melodies and stark text take you on a journey through shadows, if in any way you are prepared to meet your inner darkness..."

The band features musicians from groups like Pestigore, Born Of Thorns, Tukkanuotta and Warmen. 'Sea of Death' album will be more intensive, faster and darker as its predecessor. This opus, that overshadows even the Beast of Revelations, will be unleashed later this spring.
