Guitarist Gus Drax leaves Suicidal Angels

Gus Drax, who played guitar in Greek thrashers Suicidal Angels since 2015, decided to leave the band.

He is his Gus Drax's message:

"My time with Suicidal Angels has come to an end.
There's no drama behind this break up,
just the end of my circle with the guys.

I would like to thank Angelos, Nick and Orfeas for 10 incredible years, 3 awesome albums and countless shows and wish them all the best both for the future of the band, but also in their personal lives.

I would like to express my gratitude to all members of the crew that I worked with, every FOH, every guitar tech, drum tech, every merchandiser, manager that we have traveled and shared times together. I appreciate it all.

A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart, goes out to each and every one of YOU for your endless love and support you shown me through the years.
I never took anything for granted and I gave everything I had, every night to return that love.
I am looking forward to the next chapter of my career and life.

Music is my life and I will definitely keep writing music, touring and of course teaching.
So, I am sure I will see you all soon somewhere.

Here is the band's message:

"After 9,5 successful years, we came commonly in the decision to split our way with Gus. It was a decision from both sides, happened in an absolutely friendly way and we totally understand Gus' desire to turn in to more progressive paths, dedicated to his own band Sunburst. We wish him best of success to his future plans, he will always be one of us!"
