João Fortinho leaves Signum Regis

Slovakian power metal band Signum Regis and their vocalist João "Jota" Fortinho have parted their ways.

The band commented:

"João Fortinho, who has been with the band since 2019, has decided to leave Signum Regis for various personal reasons. This was both sad and surprising news for us, but his decision is understandable. We remain in touch as friends and may collaborate again on an occasional basis.

We'd like to thank Jota for everything he has contributed to the band and the legacy he leaves behind. On the albums he recorded – 'Undivided', 'The Seal of a New World', and 'Flag of Hope' – you'll find some of the highlights of our catalog, and we're proud of what we achieved together. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors!

So, what's next? We have a song called 'Never Surrender', and that's exactly what we'll do! We're sticking to our guns, and Signum Regis will carry on. You can expect some truly exciting news in the coming weeks and months. The plans are already in place, and we're working hard to make them happen. Stay tuned!"
