Gam to release 'Iron Gauntlet' EP in August

Blackened death metal band Gam are set to release new EP 'Iron Gauntlet' on August 1st, 2025. From groovy passages of dense brutality to fast paced, visceral moments of blackened fury, this four song EP offers a blistering take on the dynamic interplay between the dark elements of metal's two most extreme genres.

Formed in Sweden in 2011, Gam escaped their incarceration from the underworld with their debut release, 'Crowned & Reborn' in 2019. The two successive releases infused the band's old school death metal sound with a classic approach to black metal. Their latest release, 'Iron Gauntlet', sees them redefine their sound like never before, with a ferocious focus on their darkened elements.

'Iron Gauntlet' delivers an intense, aggressive sound that uniquely twists blackened death into a new type of abyssal creature, one with an insatiable desire to build up the underground while breaking it down with songs that harness the power and vision of bleak, destitute extreme metal.
