Abuser
Abuser (Poland) to release their debut album 'Blod Marks' in May
Beneath the thin veneer of civilization, the flesh of our society has begun to rot. Resentment and anger boil the blood and the luxuries of charity and empathy have been cast aside – violated and torn. Humanity's predatory instincts rise as the illusion of law and order’s protective shield is shattered and violence seethes in streets choked with filth and desperation. Those who have always harboured secret passions for cruelty and domination sense that their time is near. A new age of savagery is upon us...
...and the perfect soundtrack to these turbulent, bloodthirsty days can be found in the devastating sound of Polish thrashers Abuser! Formed in Wrocław, Poland, in 2018, Abuser were driven, right from the start, to deliver relentless, aggressive thrash metal that captured the spirit of the genre's raw and frenzied formative years. After a well-received 2019 demo the band's forward momentum was temporarily derailed as they were forced to search for a new drummer, but now – with a solid line-up and the support of Xtreem Music behind them, Abuser are ready to unleash their ferocious debut album - 'Blood Marks'.

Beginning with 'Cry of the Innocent', 'Blood Marks' delivers a rush of adrenaline as Abuser take things straight to the very brink of chaos. Riffs are delivered with a palpable purpose and intent and the domineering drumming and snarled vocals infuse this whirlwind of aggression with a primal fire. This is thrash for those dedicated to the hardest and fastest, as 'Suspended in Torture' makes abundantly clear with its raw intensity and wild guitar solos like flailing barbed wire. No ballads, no unwanted experimental forays into milder territories, just teeth-grinding crunch and the kind of velocities that dare you to try and headbang along. Songs like 'Painbringer' recall those feelings of shock and awe that accompanied your first listen to Kreator's 'Ripping Corpse' or Destruction's 'Bestial Invasion' – glorious insanity! 'Abuser' is the perfect choice for an eponymous anthem - an irresistible and addictive track – and there’s no let-up, no compromise as 'Witnessing Madness' takes us on a breathless, frantic, headlong race to the end with its blistering riffs and screaming solos. Blood Marks is the epitome of unwavering, rampaging thrash metal intensity from start to finish. A masterpiece of mayhem.
Xtreem Music will release 'Blood Marks' on CD and digital formats on May 7th and the seismic shocks will be felt throughout the thrash metal scene. A new 'Riot of Violence' has begun!
