Atavistia presents new album 'Old Gods Awaken' (out in May)

Canada's symphonic melodic death metal band Atavistia's 4th full-length album, 'Old Gods Awaken', will be unleashed on May 15th, 2026, via Blood Blast Distribution.

The band commented: "Our folkiest material yet, the album represents the first half of a two-album concept centred on returning to older ways of life. Before nature is silenced and we lose ourselves entirely. While maintaining our core sound, we pushed deeper into the early-2000's golden era of folk metal influences, expanded into multiple languages, and recorded with a variety of rare traditional instruments."
