Domain: 'The Chronicles of Love, Hate and Sorrow'
After almost 2 years, the deed is nearly done. The finishing of the upcoming Domain album 'The Chronicles of Love, Hate and Sorrow' is within spitting distance. Producer and guitarist Axel "Ironfinger" Ritt resides again at the MeadowStudios / Darmstadt - Germany, to put the final cut on the metal opera,which bases upon the epistolary novel "Die Leiden des jungen Werther" by famous German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The release date is Friday, March 13th 2009.

The artwork was done by famous Brazilian metal artwork designer Gustavo Sazes, who bridged between the traditional DOMAIN artwork concept and the requirements of the album story.

While the recordings of the new album are in full swing, Domain will set the flag for 2008. The nineth studio album of the band, which will be entitled 'The Chronicles of Love, Hate and Sorrow', will be a concept album likewise the 'Last Days of Utopia' album, but this time arranged and concieved as a "metal opera".
Vocalist Nick Ruhnow created a 12 chapter enfolding drama, based on the legendary epistolary novel "Die Leiden des Jungen Werther" by famous German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The opus will be performed by guitarist Axel Ritt, keyboarder Erdmann Lange, bassplayer Steven Wussow and Nick Ruhnow himself, enriched with hard and anthem metal, epic heavy rock and ballad elements.
Released for the first time in 1774, the story "Die Leiden des Jungen Werther" became a key work in German literature regarding the "Storm and Stress" period and describes an impossible love against all moral concepts, which provokes extreme emotional reactions up to the point of a spate of suicides among young readers of the novel.
One more time, the album will be produced by mastermind Axel Ritt.
