History
Native of the south of France, the whole family decide to move to the Auvergne province in July 1999. They settle down in an old building near the town of Saint-flour in the Cantal. This house has a tower which inspired the band name Towersound.
The trio was really born in 2001, since the beginning its members are: Jean-Christophe (Jon - author/songwriter and singer), Laurent (Lonn - guitarist), Florian (Flo - drummer). Until the beginning of 2003 they focused on their instruments, improving their musical knowledge as well as the apprenticeship of the "home studio" recording.
Their style is a blend of various influences, from classical music to metal (including Celtic, medieval, rock and hard-rock music especially from 80's).
They created and recorded their first demo (5 songs) in 2002 and the following year their album demo (10 songs). Thanks to this one they were able to make their first live events (the big open stage of "Le Printemps Bourges" and "Le Rallye Coeur de France" 2003, some French music parties and also some regional shows).
During the year 2004, they write some brand new songs and re-compose some older ones to make what they really consider as their 1st real album (named 'Towersound'). This 11-song album is the accomplishment of the work done by the trio the prior years. Definitely in the melodic metal genre, which is very rich and open, the band adds and mixes all their influences to their metal.
At the end of 2004, interested by their work, the Brennus Music Record signs the Band. The official release is scheduled on April 2005.
