Agankast
History
In September 2004 Rob Matthew (ex-Atomkraft) recruited Allan Scott on vocals... Scott introduced former Death Certificate band mate Drew Gill on drums. The band went to record many demo songs.
Gill unfortunately suffered a moutain bike accident damaging his right knee. The damage was serious enough to warrent wether or not the 17 year old would even be able to return to the drums at all. A temporary replacement was found: Ava Robertson, who then introduced Guitarist Jimmy Manningham to the band. The four began rehearsals as the website went online.
Unfortunately Robertson and Manningham proved to be unsatisfactory and lacking in the sort of commitment Rob and Allan required for Agankast and were quickly ousted from the band. In March 2005 Drew Gill had fully recovered and Welcomed back to Agankast and immeditaly returned to recording duties.
Ciaran Wright was discoverd after numerious auditions in and around the Scottish Borders. A gifted young guitar player in the Malmsteen mold... He joined in June 2005.
The band are about to release their first full-length album.
