Ancestral Volkhves

History

By recording of the '...Going Towards Gates of Mystery' demo the activity of Ancestral Volkhves is started in the year of 2001. The band was founded by Dod (drums) and Gamayun (MiroSlav - guitars). Consecutively the band was completed by Ivan (bass), Fras (guitars) and Cernorog (vocals). When Ivan left the band he was substituted by Gonzull. In this line-up was the first demo recorded and the concerts played. On the end of this “first spell” of Ancestral Volkhves Vlad has appeared for a short time on guitar.

Then it were two years of silence. After this pause the band is together again to start the works on the new album called 'Son O Iriyi' ("A Dream About Iriy").

The publishing of the first release was unsuccessful. The second one was a different story. The 'Son O Iriyi' album was published by Krv Records in January of 2005. Meantime bassguitarist Gonzull left, so the band is now represented by four members: Cernorog, Gamayun, Dod and Fras. They are actually working on a new album.
