History
Feu Gregeois is a band from the South of France. It was created in the year 2005 by Ordan (vocals) and Wüthan (bass, drums, keyboards), soon joined by Prophan (bass). The band's objective was to play dark, powerful and epic extreme metal. The band deal with the Crusades, without any political, religious or racial preference. The band want to create their medieval ages, filled with epic battles, glorious knights fighting and heroic charges.
The band's first demo cd-R was realised at the beginning of the year 2006, called 'Guerres Franques' (limited to 52 copies), and it showed the way the band wanted to follow.
Soon, Drakkar Productions from France offered Feu Gregeois to reissue the first demo on tape format. The band recorded, during the last days of the year 2006, one more song ('Le Siège', more sophisticated than the previous ones) which was included on the reissue of 'Guerres Franques' (released on October 2007).
During the year 2007 the band wrote some more songs and decided to record them. The recoding sessions took place between June and August 2007, with more professional equipment (new instruments, better orchestral sounds). Feu Gregeois's objective was to obtain more powerful sound and this objective was achieved with the second demo cd-R 'Francorum Regnum Hierosolymorum'.
Feu Gregeois began the work on their debut album. It took over two years to complete and 'Mortis Regnum' was released in October 2010 by Heaume Productions in two version; digipak ('1st Circle') limited to 300 and including 2 more songs as the regular jewelcase edition ('2nd Circle').
