History

Acrania was born in the summer of 2001 under the name of Necrofilia. Acrania is a project that proposes different musical style, with strong melodic death influences, complementing music with different latin rythms and melodies and with other instruments that aren't the classical "metal" ones; searching for a new concept combining different musical styles such as: Samba, bossanova, songo, jazz and different typical Mexican rhythms with death metal. Acrania has created a very unique sound and gives a different and innovative proposal.

In September of 2007 Acrania launched their first EP called 'In Peaceful Chaos', which was recorded at Dagoth Studios and it is being released as a preview of the full length album to come.

In November 2010 the band released their debut full length album, 'Unbreakable Fury'.
