Logic Of Denial

History

The Logic of Denial (L.O.D.) were born in Reggio Emilia at the end of 2006 from the ashes of the trashcore-death metal band Collapse (2003-2006). The wish of destruction and renewal of guitarist Alessandro "Alle" D'Antone, vocalist Mattia "Matt" Gattia and bassist Davide "Dave" Iori drove them to explore the solutions offered by death metal in a deeply personal way.

The first result is 'Art of Psycophagy', a promotional album which has met the favour of a number of webzines and whose name is also that of their first tour ("Tour of Psychophagy"), during which they were bringing their music in many parts of Northern Italy, including Como, Brescia, Reggio Emilia, Bologna and Verona - where they performed in front of more than 300 metal heads in a devastating final concert.

Immediately after their lucky tour, the band returned to the studios in order to record the tracks composed during the previous year. The result is the second promo 'Spirals of Downfall', an extremely personal journey through musical extremism, which exploits a more accurate sound research and a renewed violence of expression.

After a lineup change, in which the bass player Dave left the band and Danny became the new official LoD's drummer, Logic of Denial prepare themselves to record their first full-length album at Moonlight Studios, a brutal and personal interpretation in the death metal field.
