Bloodshedd

History

Starting out in June 6, 1996 (696 logo) from the Philippines and being around as a serious band since that period, it's safe to say Bloodshedd enters their new found passion.

Through the years, the band has to go on a series of line-up changes. This present five-piece has what it seems, a most solid line-up consisting of Bong Ecat & Darwin Venus on guitars, Mc Santiago on bass, Toots Book on drums and Jojo Book on vocals.

With only the inspiration of their anger as a guide, these five men prove that their art is not an attempt to solve the problems caused by society. Their only concern is to state those problems in an honest way through their music. Riding out with their style of music which is death-thrash, the band will stick to their arsenal of virtuosity in its purest sonic form.

In 2006 the band's debuting 'Bloodshedd' demo got them signed with Tower Of Doom Records. The debut album 'Eye of the Pessimist' (2007) soon became one of the fastest-selling local metal albums in recent history, completely selling out their first print in less than 2 weeks. Since then, they have toured Luzon on the Tower of Doom Siege Tour , and played to thousands of fans during the 2007 Pulp Summer Slam, where their incredible technical skill was displayed to metal fanatics from all over the country.

Bloodshedd's reputation for their amazing technicality and powerful live shows has gotten them invited and flown over to play for fans in Visayas time and again. When they’re not playing for crowds in distant provinces, Bloodshedd is busy performing for fans all across Manila , often times playing numerous gigs in a single night.

In 2009 it was time for the sophomore album. 'Spare No One', again released under Tower Of Doom Records.
