Mondrian Oak
History
Mondrian Oak were born in Fall 2007, when Francesco, Diego, Stefano and Matteo decided to start a new experimental project to create evocative, psychedelic music, where atmospheric elements prevailed. After having recorded a preproduction, played many lives and festivals, and receiving appreciations from audience and experts (Billy Anderson, producer of Neurosis and Melvins, just to name one), they decided to enter the studio to record their first full length, named 'Through Early Seed', under the supervision of Mattia Coletti (Polvere, Wallace records) and the Bips Studio in Milan (Wallace Records, Zu, Emi Music, Afterhours, Morkobot, Rocksound magazine etc.) as for the mastering. This debut album saw the light on the 21st of September 2009, through belgian label Consouling Sounds.
