Tools Of Torture

History

Tools Of Torture was born in late 2006 as a brutal/death band. The band is formed by Francesco Carmenini at guitars, Tamoth at drums, Antonio D'Orazio at bass and Genobile at vocals.

Tools Of Torture recorded a 5-track 'Promo 2007' cd in spring 2007 at Alien Recording Studio and thank to this promo cd they get a deal with Despise The Sun Records for a debut album.

In August 2008 the band recorded, again at Alien Recording Studio, 'Faith - Purification - Execution', a 11 tracks concept album about inquisition's tortures with a cover art by Phlegeton Studio (Avulsed, Katalepsy, Impure, Human Mincer and many more...).

On February 2009 the debut album was finally out on Despise The Sun Records and the band started to promote it with a massive live activity inside and outside Italy, playing also at "Moscow Death Fest 2009" with bands like Defeated Sanity, Rompeprop, Amagortis and more. Several months later Tools Of Torture filmed their first videoclip: 'Garrote', a song from 'Faith - Purification - Execution' album.

In January 2010 the band toured UK with Rompeprop and Cerebral Bore, playing also at Wintergore Fest with Crepitation, Joe Pesci and more. In March of the same year, again with Cerebral Bore, it was the turn of Italy with the "Castrating Italy Tour 2010".
