History
The band was created in spring 1990. Brutal death metal is what Parricide is all about. The line-up included Mariusz Staniuk (bass/vocal), Albert Kraczkowski (guitar), Piotr Sabarański (guitar) and Artur Raszka (drums).
Over the next several months they gave few concerts. Then the problems with an equipment and a rehearsal room appeared - parricide suspended their activity.
Eventually at the beginning of 1992 parricide started to work in full swing. It resulted in their debut 'Rehearsal tape '92' in April. It contained 7 compositions. Roughly 500 tapes was sold. The group gave also some concerts that time. At the beginning of july 1993 Parricide recorded new stuff at the Gdynia's Warrior studio. The tape was released in 1995 by the Morbid Noizz Productions from Poland under the title 'Unnailed'.
The year after (July 1994) Parricide recorded at the same studio eight compositions. Few months later (January 1995) tape titled 'Fascination of Indifference' was issued by the Baron Records. In September 1995 'Unnailed' was released. In November the band recorded at the same studio ten compositions under the title 'Accustomed to Illusion' (released by Morbid Noizz Prod. in October 1996).
At the end of 1997 Parricide recorded their debut album 'Crude' at Selani Studio. Soon after recording, line-up change and loss of rehearsal place caused one year break in activities. Mariusz Staniuk left the band and Paweł Brożek (vocals) and Tadeusz Jankowski (bass) came in.
The band came back in November 1998, except now with the drummer Tomasz Łuć. In June 1999 the debut CD 'Crude' was released through Japanese Jackhammer Music.
In 2000 the band recorded their sophomore album 'Ill-Treat' in Hertz Studio. In 2001 the album was released as a start for Surgical Diathesis Records. Next year the album was re-released (remastered and repacked) by Empire Records for outside Poland.
In June 2003 a three-way split together with Patologicum and Deformed 'Cut Your Head before They Do' was released. Same year the third studio album, 'Kingdom of Downfall', was released by Mad Lion Records.
In autumn 2003 vocalist Łukasz Zając became the fifth member of the band.
