KillerBob And The Black Lodge
History
Formed in September 2011 from a fuck given for a while. After the disband of Raza De Odio, John KillerBob together with Christo Machete decided to found a new band, with the aim to play raw, fast and dirty rock 'n' roll (in vein of Motörhead, Saxon, AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Blue Öyster Cult, Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Hawkwind, Judas Priest, etc...). The day after LJ Dusk joined the duo, completing the line-up.
After some month in the rehearsal room, in June 2012 the power-trio entered the studio for a first recording session. The result is a bunch of old-style heavy metal songs flavoured with a pinch of raw rock 'n' roll that will bang your head.
The story behind the band's name KillerBob And The Black Lodge: When John joined the band Cadaveria in 2000, the Shadows' Madame herself, Mrs. Cadaveria, baptized him as Killer Bob (all Cadaveria members have David Lynch's movies' villains' names). Killer Bob (from the movie "Twin Peaks") is a demonic entity who feeds on fear and pleasure. He possesses human beings and then commits acts of rape and murder in order to feast upon his victims. He lives in the Black Lodge, a realm of pure evil which exists on an alternate plane of reality.
KillerBob And The Black Lodge features:
- John KillerBob: bass, voice (other bands: Cadaveria, DyNAbyte, ex-Necrodeath, ex-Raza de Odio)
- LJ Dusk: guitar (other bands: DyNAbyte)
- Christo Machete: drums (other bands: Dorothy's Doll, formerly with Zorn and Raza De Odio. Freelance drummer with several artists such as Cadaveria, Athlantis, Odyssea, Mastercastle, Roberto Tiranti, Trevor (Sadist), etc...)
